>> sailing the seafly
We are all too well aware that many buy boats which are unsuitable for them. We strongly recommend that no-one should do so based on specification alone, or on the advice of friends no matter how well intentioned, without first of all sailing the different dinghies that seem appropriate to their needs.
The factors to consider includes the ease of launching and recovery, the capsize characteristics and 'do you enjoy sailing her'? Does it meet your criteria?
The Seafly is:
- versatile, may be sailed or motored
- lightweight compared to many boats of a similar size
- stable and responsive
- easily managed launch and recovery
- low maintenance
The sailing performance, well, why not come for a trial sail - no obligation to buy just come and try!
